Israel’s MHA: An Important Clarification
While we ensure impeccable service and accelerate all airport processes, it’s crucial to understand a key distinction: our VIP service cannot influence the decisions of the Ministry of Interior (MHA) border control.
MHA officers have the right to conduct additional interviews with any arriving passenger. This is standard practice aimed at preventing illegal immigration. Increased scrutiny may apply to citizens from post-Soviet countries, Africa, and South America.
Detention at Border Crossing and the Agent’s Role
If you’re called for an additional interview, it can take anywhere from half an hour to several hours. The outcome of such an interview can vary: you might be granted entry into Israel, or, in some cases, face a deportation decision.
In the event of a detention, our VIP service agent will stay with you for up to 1.5 hours, offering moral support and staying in communication. However, our agent does not have the authority to intervene in the interview process or influence MHA decisions. If you are not released within this 1.5-hour period, the agent will depart (the option to extend the agent’s presence for an additional fee can be discussed individually).
